The Garmin Fenix E and Garmin Venu 3S are for two different types of people, but both are available at a surprisingly low price thanks to these limited-time Garmin deals.

Garmin watches are often expensive, which is why I always recommend them on sale. For example, the Garmin Fenix E, usually $799, is now down to $399. That’s the all-time low price for this model and probably the best Garmin deal I’ve seen so far this fall.

The Garmin Fenix E is essentially a Garmin Epix Gen 2 with a newer OS. It sports multi-GNSS navigation plus a 3-axis compass, gyroscope, and barometric altimeter that should cover basically all your tracking needs. It’s got pulse ox monitoring, respiration tracking, advanced sleep monitoring, real-time stamina tracking, and a training readiness score (so you know what days you should be taking it easy).

Despite all the features, this one will last you two weeks per charge and can utilize GPS for up to 42 hours on each charge. The stainless steel bezel looks great, and the 47mm fiber-reinforced polymer case is built to last. This is one of those watches that, quite frankly, makes no sense at full cost. At half the price, though? Yeah, that looks much better.

If you’re looking for something a little more elegant-looking, the Garmin Venu 3S is the right choice. At $299, this Garmin deal makes it $250 less than the Garmin Venu 4. You might think buying the newest one is automatically better, but that’s not necessarily the case between these two models.

For example, the Venu 4 is thicker and heavier because it uses an all-metal casing, has one less button on the side, lacks the permanent hour markers that are on the Venu 3S’s bezel, and has worse battery life by 1-2 days, depending on your usage. The Venu 4 has more features and a newer OS, but I personally like the OS design on the 3S better (and I’m apparently not alone on that front).

The Venu 4 also has new sleep guidance and coaching features, training load and several tools that used to be for Garmin Forerunner watches, plus lifestyle logging, but I’m not sure I’d want to pay $250 to get those. Either way, you’ve got a great option now that the Venu 3S is at such a fantastic price.
